Abstract evaluation and presentation format

The evaluation of abstracts submitted to ZoologyCon 2026 has been completed. Decisions regarding abstract acceptance and presentation format have been communicated individually to the contact authors.

We received 68 requests for oral presentations this year, while the Congress programme can accommodate only 41 regular oral presentations. Consequently, 27 contributions submitted with a preference for oral presentation had to be allocated to the poster sessions.

In allocating the available oral presentation slots, particular attention was given to maintaining a balanced thematic representation within the oral programme.
