An International Zoological Congress ORGANIZED BY The GRIGORE ANTIPA MUSEUM PARTNERS:

Presentation guidelines

Oral Presentations

Regular oral presentations are allocated 15 minutes, including discussion. Presenting authors should plan for approximately 12 minutes of presentation followed by 3 minutes for questions and discussion.
Invited speakers and special plenary lecturers should follow the presentation duration indicated in the Congress programme.
Presentations must be provided as a PowerPoint (.pptx) or PDF (.pdf) file.
Presenting authors are asked to bring their presentation on a USB flash drive and transfer it to the Congress presentation computer at the beginning of the day on which their presentation is scheduled. This will allow us to check the file in advance and avoid delays between presentations.
If this is not possible, presentations should be transferred during a coffee or lunch break preceding the relevant session.
All presentations will be delivered using the computer provided in the lecture hall. Personal laptops cannot be connected to the presentation system.

Poster Presentations

Posters should be prepared in A0 format (841 × 1189 mm), portrait orientation.
Authors are responsible for printing their posters and bringing them to the Congress venue. Materials required for mounting the posters will be provided by the organizers.
Posters should be mounted on Wednesday, 4 November, between 9:30 and 10:00, during participant registration. Authors who are unable to mount their posters during this interval may do so later.
Each poster will have a designated display location identified by its Abstract ID. Please mount your poster only in the space corresponding to the Abstract ID assigned to your contribution during the abstract submission process.
Posters will remain on display throughout the Congress. Presenting authors are expected to be available at their posters during the poster session to which their contribution has been assigned, in order to discuss their work with participants.
Posters should be removed by the end of Friday, 6 November.
A ZoologyCon 2026 poster template is available for authors who wish to use it. Use of the template is optional. Authors are welcome to use their own poster design, provided that the required A0 portrait format is respected.
